About NoordDok
300 apartments for first-time buyers overlooking the IJ-river
The NDSM site is characterized by its visible industrial heritage, in the shape of the great boat sheds and docks. In the middle of this distinctive area G&S& created NoordDok, a complex consisting of apartments for first-time homeowners and medical facilities.

The NoordDok building is developed directly along two of the most important entry roads to NDSM, with a stunning view of the IJ and the wharf. With it’s no-nonsense architecture reminding of the industrial NDSM’s heritage, the NoordDok is definitely a striking building. It consists out of three adjoining blocks of 9, 11 and 15 floors high. The upper floors provide awe-inspiring views of one of the fastest growing areas of Amsterdam.

Collaboration with architect
We’re incredibly proud of our wonderful partners with whom we co-created NoordDok, such as architect Moke. As we had such a nice experience working together on this project, Moke and G&S& continue to reach out to one another for e.g. tenders or concept deepening assignments. What’s even more special, is that because of this great relationship, someone at Moke decided to come and work for us – as he was so charmed by G&S&’s portfolio and approach. This way, G&S& also gained architecture firm-level knowledge. This was an enrichment for all parties involved!
